Modular Building Services

ALC's building services include all aspects of modular, or volumetric, construction from the pre-planning stage through to the completed unit or complex, ready to walk into and use. A true turnkey solution for almost any situation. Feasibility Cost Studies

for building purchase, rental, or lease - ALC will provide a list of budget guideline costs for the design services relating to the modular building, the site designs, and the utility connections. Where required, ALC will also provide guideline costs for planning permission and building regulation applications.

with technical specifications - necessary for the smooth running of any building project. A complete site survey is performed during the early stages of the construction project. This ensures there will be no unforeseen site restrictions that could adversely affect the overall project costs.

Detailed plan and elevation drawings for the building project will be supplied, together with detailed technical specifications for all required building works.

Site Designs

CDM Regulations

ALC can provide the service of CDM Coordinator (Planning Supervisor), to enable clients to discharge their legal duties under the construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007.

Following the initial site survey by ALC - a design team will meet to discuss the building project requirements, and a design drawing will be organised with special attention being paid to:

• access routes to and from the site
• location of the proposed building
• utility connections to and from the proposed building
• existing and proposed landscaping and pathways
• existing and proposed vehicle parking
• all proposed foundations, ramps and steps
• any other civil works required to complete the project

On some occasions it is also necessary to highlight the site compound and locations of any cranes and lorries to be used during the installation of the building units.

Planning & Building Regulations

ALC will carry out any Planning and Building regulation applications necessary to complete the project.

Tender Proposals

Reduce stress - once involved in the building project, ALC can relieve you of the burden of arranging building contract tenders, proposals, drawings, and specification sheets. We will also organise the tender return cost analyses and propose the most suitable modular building contractor.

Construction Management

ALC's Project Management team will oversee all operations on the proposed building site during construction. They will also visit the Modular Building contractors' factory to ensure the smooth running of the building project.

Utility Connections

We have found at ALC that the client in many cases would organise the utility service connection's to and from the building, however, ALC's Project Management Team will also liaise with the various designated divisions, local authorities to ensure that this part of the works is carried out to meet all current stipulated regulations.
