Project Management from Inception to Completion
Archaeological Field Surveys are normally carried out prior to a new development being approved by the local authority planning department.
In most cases the developer or the client would have carried out a search of the proposed site to establish whether the site has archaeological history.
If so then an archaeological survey would have to be carried out as part of the proposed planning application for consideration by the local authority. Archaeologists use a variety of tools in survey, including GIS,GPS, remote sensing, geophysical survey and aerial photography. Arch Lodge Construction Project Management offer the service either as a independent survey or as part of an overall project management package. .
